Academic Biography	Dr. Gu received the B.S. degree in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, the M.S. degree in computer science from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, both in China, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from New Jersey Institute of Technology . Her dissertation is on develping techniques for enhancing comprehensibility of controlled medical terminologies.
