Detailed Self Registration Instructions

  1. Click on the course link located on the self registration page. A new window will appear.

  2. Enter your WebCT ID and password. Click OK.

    ** CAUTION #1** If you get this message: "Error: Illegal access. Please do not access this script directly," shut down your browser, then restart it. Go back to the original registration page to start over.

    ** CAUTION #2** If you get this message: "Internal Conflict in Creating a Course Account" go here.

  3. Fill out the required fields on the "Additional Information" page. Click Continue.

  4. Once WebCT processes the information, a new screen will appear. Select the link "Go to course." You can also click on the "Return to myWebCT" link and select your course from the left hand column of course choices.

When you are finished using these instructions, close this window.


** CAUTION ** If you get this message "Internal Conflict in Creating a Course Account" (see image below), it means you are already registered into the course with the WebCT ID and password you typed in. If that occurs, click on the "Return to myWebCT" link at the top of the page. Select your course from the course listings in the left hand column.

When you are finished using these instructions, close this window.
