Domain Names at UMDNJOver the last year, ACS/IST has been working with University representatives to provide easier to remember and more appropriate web addresses to the UMDNJ community. To this end, an official UMDNJ Policy was formulated and adopted. The new naming strategy has one technical consequence. If a site contains a search form constructed to search for pages running under one of the newly-named virtual servers, a modification of one configuration line may be necessary. For example, at the restriction command appropriately reads (on one line): INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="restrict" VALUE="http://rwjms.umdnj.edu/" If you have questions about the new policy, please direct them to Bruce Byrne at byrne@umdnj.edu. page last changed
