During PA internships, students are offered extensive clinical training, including eight-week rotations in inpatient medicine, ambulatory care, pediatrics, surgery, and a six-week rotation in obstetrics/gynecology. Rotations are also required in emergency medicine, psychiatry, intensive care medicine, HIV education, and either geriatrics or neurology. During the final semester, students may choose elective rotations from a wide variety of disciplines such as cardiology, infectious disease, dermatology, gastroenterology, and surgical subspecialties.
