The George F. Smith Library of the Health Sciences serves all of the schools, programs, and departments on the Newark Campus and is the major research library of the health sciences for the State of New Jersey. Collection strengths include medicine, dentistry, nursing, and allied health disciplines, with an emphasis on periodical literature. The Library has over 145,000 bound volumes of journals and monographs, currently receives more than 1,400 health sciences journals, and has over 3,500 audiovisual and microcomputer software programs. A wide range of electronic and print resources are available to faculty, students, and staff. Access to the University Libraries Health Information Network (ULHIN) is available from the Library or remotely from a computer in a home or other off-campus locations. more
