![]() GSBS became a separate school of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1969, when the University moved to new facilities in Newark. The programs offered at the schools' three divisions, Newark, Piscataway and Stratford, differ according to research areas and programmatic structure, but are consistent in their pursuit of scientific and educational excellence. Areas of study include anatomy, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, cell and molecular biology, neuroscience, pathology, pharmacology, and physiology. The requirements for admission and completion of GSBS programs are similar on the three divisions, but are not identical. Applicants should review the programs at the individual divisions through UMDNJ's website gsbs.umdnj.edu |
