The Eric B. Chandler Health Center (EBCHC) is a comprehensive, family oriented community health center operated by Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. It was designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in January of 1991. The mission of the Center is to provide high quality ambulatory health care services which are culturally sensitive and affordable and to educate and train health professionals, students and residents. This is accomplished through programs that address the needs of the community emphasizing health promotion, cultural competency, the prevention and treatment of disease, health education, primary care research, and community involvement. more
