The Violence Institute of New Jersey at UMDNJ-University Behavioral Health
Care is seeking a research associate to join an active research group. The associate will work on ongoing projects, and will assist in the
preparation of manuscripts for publication and grant applications. Responsibilities will also include data management and analyses.
A Doctoral degree in Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Public
Health or related field is preferred (we will also consider candidates with a Master’s degree in one of the above fields plus three years
of relevant experience). Strong statistical skills and experience with SPSS and/or other statistical software a must, as is the ability to
work as part of multidisciplinary team. Some knowledge of etiological models of violence, as well as violence prevention and/or intervention
