PISCATAWAY OFFICE:

FROM 287 NORTH Take 287 to Exit 9. Make a left after exit. Take jug handle at first light (Centennial Avenue). Go about 1/8 mile. The first light is for Embassy Suites. Make the next left (Kingsbridge) and then turn left into our driveway. Parking is free.

FROM 287 SOUTH Take Exit 9 (River Road), the first exit pass Easton Ave. Make a right onto River Road and then a quick right (jug handle for Centennial Avenue). Continue as above.

FROM ROUTE 18 Take Route 18 North over the John Lynch Bridge to River Road/Piscataway exit bear right off of exit onto River Road. Stay in the right lane and go about 4 miles to Centennial Avenue (there is a light there). Bear right onto Centennial and go about 1/8 of mile. Continue as above.

GARDEN STATE PARKWAY Take to 287 and then proceed as above.

NEWARK OFFICE:

FROM NEW JERSEY TPK, NORTH OR SOUTH Take Exit 15W to I-280 West to the Orange St./6th St. Exit. Make the first right onto Orange Street and proceed one block to First Street. Turn right and proceed about a half mile to West Market Street, where First Street becomes Bergen Street. Proceed straight on Bergen St. to the traffic light at South Orange Ave. Turn left and at the first light, turn left into the University complex. Metered parking is to your immediate right.

FROM THE GARDEN STATE PARKWAY, NORTH OR SOUTH Take Exit 145 to I-280 East. Take the First Street Exit. Turn right onto First Street and continue across West Market St., where First Street becomes Bergen Street. Proceed straight on Bergen St. to the traffic light at South Orange Ave. Turn left and at the first light, turn left into the University complex. Metered parking is to your immediate right.

FROM ROUTE 78, EAST OR WEST (from Newark International Airport, use Route 78 Westbound) Take Exit 56 and turn left at the light onto Elizabeth Ave.. Turn left at the light onto to W. Bigelow St.. Go about 3/10 mile and turn right onto Bergen St. Proceed about 1-1/2 mile to S. Orange Ave. Turn right onto South Orange Avenue and take first left into the University complex. Metered parking is to your immediate right.

FROM NEW YORK CITY Take the George Washington Bridge or the Lincoln Tunnel to NJ Turnpike to Exit 15W. Follow directions from NJ Turnpike. Or take the Holland Tunnel to the NJ Turnpike (Exit 14) to Route 78 West. Follow directions from Route 78 West.

MASS TRANSIT PATH and Amtrak rail lines and New Jersey Transit buses and trains serve Penn Station in downtown Newark, about a mile from the UMDNJ campus. The #21 and #34 buses stop at the campus. Taxi service is available to and from Penn Station and Newark International Airport.
