Biography
Carlos Perez, Jr. has been employed in the public health field for over fifteen years. He previously served as Health Officer for the City of Passaic. Currently, Carlos is employed as County Health Officer for the Morris County Department of Law & Public Safety where he oversees programs in environmental health, public health emergency preparedness, Hazmat, and communicable disease.
Carlos holds a Bachelors degree in Community/School Health Education and Sociology from William Paterson University and a Master of Public Administration degree in Health Administration from Long Island University. He is a licensed Health Officer and Registered Environmental Health Specialist. Carlos’ has a special interest in the fields of minority health, sociocultural determinants of health, and healthcare disparities. He enjoys travel, reading, and hiking.
