Biography

Phoebe received her Bachelor’s degree from Kean University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Computer Science.  At Kean, Phoebe was a member of both the Phi Kappa Phi and Alpha Lambda Sigma Honor societies. Her seminal research projects at Kean were in the development of psychological tests for the measurement of frontal lobe disorders and in facial recognition capabilities.

Phoebe received her Masters of Science degree in Technical Communication from NJIT, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. At NJIT, Phoebe completed her thesis based on a research project on the creation of a scoring rubric for quality assessment in online courses. This project culminated in the development and adoption of the rubric for the NJIT Framework for Quality Assurance in eLearning.  As a result of this work, Phoebe was the 2010 STRIDES award recipient for Advances by Women in Technology from the Executive Women of New Jersey (EWNJ).
