Biography
A Ph.D. candidate in the Urban Systems Program, Ersin holds a Master of Architecture degree concentrating in History and Theory of Architecture from Yildiz Technical University in Istanbul and a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey. He contributed to the retrospective exhibition on Turkish architect Sedad Hakki Eldem held in Istanbul at the Ottoman Bank Archive / Research Center in 2009 and Becoming Istanbul, an international exhibition on Istanbul, organized by Deutsches Architekturmuseum (DAM) and Garanti Gallery in 2008. He is the author of more than a dozen published articles about architecture and design and served as editor of Boyut Publishing Group’s architectural monthly Arredamento Mimarlik and Architecture and City Series: A Guide to Contemporary Architecture from 2002 to 2006. Ersin worked as an architect and project manager for several architectural firms in Istanbul between 2000 and 2002.
