Yuri Jadotte (Urban Health) attended the 2011 Cochrane Colloquium in Madrid, Spain, as the representative of the UMDNJ-New Jersey Center for Evidence-Based Practice. The Cochrane Collaboration is an international organization dedicated to the pursuit of evidence-based healthcare, and consists of various research centers, each specializing in a particular biomedical field. As part of his involvement with the Cochrane Collaboration, Yuri has recently been selected to be the lead author of an international team of 7 physicians and scientists, for a Cochrane research project entitled “Interventions for Cutaneous Sarcoidosis”, which is a particularly disfiguring skin disease that tends to disproportionately affect Black populations. Yuri also recently published two major review articles, both of which are due to appear in the February 2012 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (JAAD).
