Aditi Sarkar
Aditi Sarkar’s interest lies in information visualization, in particular to help the public visually understand governmental decision-making processes. She presented her paper “Spatially Enabled Accounting Systems for Governmental Transparency and Accountability” at the ESRI International User Conference in 2006 and is currently working on her dissertation “"Accessibility in Metropolitan Transportation Planning: Constructing and Geo-visualizing a GIS-based Measure." Aditi holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physics from St. Xaviers College, Kolkata, India and New York University. She holds a M. Arch from NJIT and is a licensed architect. She worked in New York City, Portland, Oregon and New Delhi, India before starting the doctoral program. Aditi is based in New Mexico and is on the road most of the time..
