Rob Daniel

Rob Daniel works with the URS Corporation and brings over 27 years of urban and regional predevelopment and project planning experience from the United States and overseas.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queens College, New York and a Masters of Urban Planning from Princeton University. He is registered with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) since 2002. Rob has a varied background in school construction, urban redevelopment, project management and the construction of public infrastructures.

He began his professional career in Atlantic County, New Jersey. Progressing through a series of positions in local government, Rob moved on to the private sector and worked on major transportation infrastructure projects. When building schools in underserved neighborhoods, Rob was one of the first engaged in the initial planning of sites and access roads. In 1995, he opened his own consulting firm which specialized in assisting government agencies with planning, land use and environmental processes that are the basis for constructing civil works.

Early in January 2003, he transferred to the URS school construction management team in northern New Jersey. Rob continues to work on building schools in several of our state’s Abbott Districts for the past five years: Union City, West New York and Jersey City.

Rob resides in West Orange, New Jersey with his wife and three daughters.
