The Heartsaver class is designed for Nursing Assistants, Unit Secretaries, and any Lay rescuer. Courses will be filled on a "first come, first served basis". Students must be free of all upper respiratory symptoms. Please do not come to class with a cold, sore throat, facial, or hand lesions. There is no recertification class available for the Heartsaver CPR. Once certification has expired after 2 years, the same class must be completed again.

These courses are free of charge for all employees that are required to be BLS certified for their job. All other University Hospital employees will be charged $30.00. All non-University Hospital employees be charged $65.00. Anyone unable to attend the class once they have been scheduled should call to cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to the class, failure to do so will result in a $30.00 administrative fee. This course is offered by The University Hospital Training Center, an authorized provider of AHA CPR courses. Fees charged do not represent revenue to the AHA or its affiliates.
