Sonia Andresson is not just another pretty face. True, she's a beauty. But a few years ago Sonia's face, and her spirit, were shattered in a devastating car accident. It was a long, painful road back, but she made it.
It happened on an April evening in 1995. Sonia, then 14, and her parents were on the way to the Willowbrook Mall. Sonia needed a pair of shoes to compete in Newark's upcoming Princess of Portugal pageant. She leaned forward between the front seats to talk to her parents when their minivan was violently struck from behind by a drunk driver.
