UMDNJ STUDENTS STAR IN TELEVISION COMMERCIAL Eight University students participated in a UMDNJ commercial that aired on cable networks throughout New Jersey in February. The 60-second spot, which supported student recruitment, is part of UMDNJs ongoing image campaign.
Students from all schools answered an open casting call for auditions. One from each school was selected for a 12-hour day of taping in a New York studio, complete with a makeup artist and wardrobe consultant. The students making their television debut are, from left to right: Eric Sacks, New Jersey Dental School; Mary Hahn, School of Nursing; Albert Li, New Jersey Medical School; Robert Holmes, School of Osteopathic Medicine; Taneshia Williams, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; Lauren Arnold, School of Public Health/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; Veronica Torres, School of Health Related Professions and Pamela Love, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The television spots aired on all cable networks throughout New Jersey on the following stations: Arts and Entertainment Network (A&E), Cable News Network, Discovery Channel, ESPN, Lifetime Television, MSG, MSNBC, Nickelodeon, The Weather Channel and CNBC. |
