NJMS STUDENT WINS PRIZE

    Congratulations to Cary S. Idler, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, class of 2003, who received the Basic Research First Place Award from the American Medical Students Association (AMSA). A panel of NIH physician-researchers selected his research project, which examined metabolic responses to sepsis, as the best of some 100 entries. Idler was invited to present his findings at AMSA's annual meeting in March and received an honorarium of $250.
