Chances are you've never heard of Jean Carnevale's career. She's an informatics nurse, an RN skilled in information systems and technology. As a consultant to hospitals and healthcare agencies, she helps clinicians and healthcare administrators manage more effectively in the age of computers. Right now, Carnevale is immersed in a project to increase public and professional awareness about organ and tissue donation. She's developing a continuing education computer course for all healthcare professionals about all aspects of organ and tissue donation-and trains them to talk to families about organ donation when a loved one has died.
