Usage guidelines for area of isolation, size and color
When using the official logo, it is important to observe proper
clearances as well as a minimum size. Please refer to the section
below for these specifications as well as information regarding
1, 2 and 4 color reproduction.

Area of Isolation: In order to maintain proper clearance,
measure the top right section of the shield which contains the open
book icon. Use this measurement to determine the area of clearance
in which no printed matter may enter.

Minimum size: In order to maintain clear reproduction, the
official logo must appear no smaller than 1 inch from far left edge
to far right edge.

For reproduction on newsprint a minimum size of 1.5 inch wide is
required.

For consistent color reproduction use the following specifications:

2 colors on coated stock:
|
|
|
100% Pantone 200 C, 100% Black
|
|
|
2 colors on uncoated stock:
|
|
|
100% Pantone 200 U, 100% Black
|
|
|
4 color process:
|
|
|
Red = 10c, 100m, 60y
Black = 100k
|
|
|
For 1 color applications, the official logo should appear in 100%
black.

The official logo may knockout to solid white when appearing on
dark backgrounds.
