University Family Practice Center at Vailsburg has become a household name in Newark’s West Ward since opening in February 1999. Affiliated with University Hospital and the New Jersey Medical School Department of Family Medicine, the practice is located in the heart of Vailsburg, and provides medical care for the entire family including infants, children, teenagers, adults and seniors.

Dr. Duncan is the practice's medical director and Dr. Gantt (who joined the Vailsburg staff in July) is her assistant.
