10/13--South Ward Information Fair at George Washington Carver School
While most people were winding down from a busy, work-filled week, attendees at the South Ward Information Fair were still in work mode. That's because the standing-room only event featured information on employment opportunities,
ex-felon re-entry, and health and wellness.
The University Hospital contributed to the success of this event by providing blood pressure screenings, eye disease screenings and information on HIV/AIDS. Our contribution would not have been possible if the following staff members did not attend on our behalf: Julio Colon (Orthopaedics), Pat Hardy (FXB Center), and Doctors Ben Szirth and Khadijah Shahid (NJMS Institute of Ophthalmology and Visual Science).
Thanks, everyone!
