DRIVER SAFETY TRAINING

Logistical Services offers a computer based "online" course for designated drivers only (individuals who drive UMDNJ vehicles). You can take this online course with any computer with internet access.  The course can be completed in four hours. There are no point reductions or insurance discounts applied with this "online course".
This class is required once every three years. For enrollment assistance please call 732-235-9070.

THERE IS A $5.00 FEE PER STUDENT PER LICENSE.

LOGISTICAL SERVICES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST/MISPLACED DDC CERTIFICATES. PLEASE BE SURE TO KEEP THIS DDC CERTIFICATE IN A SAFE PLACE.

DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE

LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS TO ACCESS NATIONAL SAFETY COUNCIL’S DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE.

New Students - (If you have not taken this course or took this course over a year ago, you must register as a New Student and create a new and unique Login ID)

1. Go to www.safetyserve.com/umdnj
2. Click on the New Student button.
3. Click on Click here for New Student Registration
4. Type in NJDDC9 as your Access Code and click Submit.
5. You will be presented with a Registration page.  Type in your information, including a Login ID and a Password of your choice, and click on Submit.
   (Please note – you will receive a confirming email reminding you of the user name and password you created for access to the site at a later date.) 
6. On the My Place page, click on Safety.
7. Then on the My Courses Page, click on NSC Defensive Driving Course 8.2 Edition to begin the course.

Returning Students – (Students who registered as a New Students within the last year)

1. Go to www.safetyserve.com/umdnj  
2. Click on the Returning Student button.
3. Type in your Login ID and your Password, created by you during registration, and click on Login.
4. On the My Place page, click on Safety.
5. Then on the My Courses Page, click on NSC Defensive Driving Course 8.2 Edition to begin the course.
