“Universal Fuel Card” Program

Re: “Universal Fuel Cards”

UMDNJ Logistical Services is pleased to announce that the University will be changing over to a “Universal Fuel Card” program. This new program enables the purchase of regular fuel from Exxon, Mobil, as well as other brands of fueling stations across New Jersey.

A guide outlining where the ExxonMobil “Universal Fuel Cards” are accepted, will be included with each fuel card. Additionally, a program overview on the “Universal” Exxon Mobil Fuel Card program will be posted on Logistical Services’ website at: http://www.umdnj.edu/transweb

A “Universal Fuel Card” and PIN Number will be assigned to each Vehicle/License Plate Number. Note: All vehicle operators must only use the fuel card specifically assigned to the vehicle being fueled.

The vehicle operator will be prompted at the point of sale to enter the assigned PIN# and current odometer reading. This process is mandatory.

In the event a replacement “Universal Fuel Card” is required, please provide:

Reason for your request (card missing, not working…),
Vehicle Identification Information (Year Make, Model, License Plate#),
Your department’s Index#. Note: Replacement Fuel Cards will be received approximately 48 hours after your request. A $25.50 replacement card fee will be IDT’d to your Index.
