RE:                US Mail Requests of Vehicle Registration Cards

As you know from an earlier email of July 29, 2010, a policy change has been announced by the Motor Vehicle Commission prohibiting walk-in registration requests.

Effective immediately, when UMDNJ/Logistical Services requests a duplicate registration card(s) by US Mail  for your operating department assigned fleet vehicle(s), your department will incur a $20.00 IDT charge.  

This IDT charge shall cover UMDNJ/Logistical Services costs for administrative services.

This charge is necessitated by an increased demand for replacement vehicle registration cards due to original cards being lost or misplaced by assigned department employees.
