RE:                Requests for Replacement Vehicle Registration Cards (Fee Reduction)

As previously stated in the email of July 29, 2010, a policy change has been announced by the State of NJ Motor Vehicle Commission prohibiting walk-in registration requests.

Upon notification by your department that a registration card has been lost or misplaced for one of your assigned vehicles, UMDNJ/Logistical Services shall process a request to the State of NJ Motor Vehicle Commission for duplicate registration card(s). A $20.00 IDT charge per card will be incurred by your department for these administrative services.  This is a reduction from the $50.00 charge previously made for walk-in registration requests.
