VEHICLE SERVICING

All UMDNJ vehicles are on a 3–month Preventive Maintenance Service program; the vehicles are inspected by one of our highly qualified ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) Certified Technicians. Any items requiring repair(s) are then handled In–house for vehicles located on the Newark campus. For vehicles located on other campuses Transportation Services has contracted with State Contract repair facilities that follow our strict vehicle repair procedures and report their findings directly to our department. All of our vehicles are inspected according to NJDMV procedures and service data is stored on our LAN system for future reference.
