Chapter Seven

SATISFACTORY ACADEMIC PROGRESS

Federal regulations stipulate that continuing eligibility for financial aid is contingent upon satisfactory academic progress according to the standards and practices of the institution and individual schools. Satisfactory Academic Progress standards are defined by each school. See each school's website for individual Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. Should a student not be progressing satisfactorily the student will either be placed on Financial Aid probation or lose eligibility for financial aid funding.

A review of each enrolled student's academic progress will be conducted within the various units of UMDNJ in accordance with the school policies. An annual review of each policy will be conducted to assure compliance.
