The Federal Work–Study Program (FWSP) provides jobs for undergraduate and graduate students with financial need‚ allowing earned money to pay educational expenses. The FWSP has multiple programs for student participation‚ which include the Regular‚ Community Service and Literacy work–study programs. The Community Service Program was designed to improve the quality of life for community residents by assisting non–profit governmental and community based organizations throughout communities via qualifying student employment opportunities. Those interested in participating in the FWSP must apply for financial aid‚ indicate a desire to participate in the program and have FWS awarded as part of the financial aid award package.
