Goals of the Alumni Web Site 

 

 


This site has been designed to accomplish several goals:

 

  1. To provide our alumni with the opportunity to update their contact information in an effort to keep our graduates linked with one another.   The field of Psychiatric Rehabilitation benefits greatly from partnerships established between professionals providing services to individuals with mental illness.   This site will allow alumni to contact one another, share information such as service provision strategies, and network with one another to share information on professional development opportunities.
  2.  To provide employment opportunities received by our department from agencies around the state seeking trained Psychiatric Rehabilitation professionals.

      3. To inform graduates of staff trainings, local and state

          conferences, continuing education opportunities and other staff

          development trainings that may be of interest to our alumni.

      4. To provide information on academic degree programs for alumni

          seeking graduate and doctoral level education in Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

      5.  To provide students the opportunity to access current research and literature on the most up to date

         mental health services.   Our faculty will provide current articles from the leading peer-reviewed

         psychiatric rehabilitation journals to help graduates remain knowledgeable about evidence based

         practices and emerging topics of interest.
