Commencement 2008

Commencement 2008 will be held on Wednesday, May 21st  at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ at 10:00 a.m. Graduates should report to the Izod Center  no later than 9:00 a.m.   Students who have applied for graduation and indicated that they will be attending Commencement have recently been mailed out a confirmation postcard. If you have not received a postcard by March 17th and indicated that you were planning on attending, please contact Enrollment Services at (973) 972-5454 to confirm you are on the list of students attending this year's commencement.

Ordering Commencement Attire

Student cap and gowns were ordered based upon the information you indicate through the online Herff Jones website. All cap and gowns must be returned following the Commencement ceremony in order for graduates to receive their diploma.

Student's who are unable to pick up their attire should complete the Attire Release form. Distance students who are unable to pick up their attire should contact Enrollment Services.

Commencement Announcements

Commencement announcements were mailed to all attending student graduates on April 30th. Please note these are announcements which are not necessary for admission to the ceremony. If you have not received your announcements, please contact Enrollment Services.

Change of Attendance

Any student who signed up for Commencement but will no longer be attending must submit to Enrollment Services a ‘Change in Attending Commencement Status' form. Click here for the Change in Attending Commencement Status form (pf) .

Special Needs

Any graduate requesting special needs accommodations for themselves, friends or family member attendees must submit by April 30th a Special Needs Services Request Form (pdf).

Diploma Frames

Graduates interested in ordering diploma frames for their diploma may visit either the Matthews Book Store located at the Newark campus or order directly online from DiplomaFrame.com Click here to view the brochure.
