Physician Assistant Students Participate In the 9th Annual HIPHOP Helping Hands 5K

On April 12, 2008 a team of UMDNJ Physician Assistants participated in a 5K run sponsored by the RWJMS Homeless and Indigent Population Health Outreach Project (HIPHOP). This annual event raises money for many of HIPHOP's outreach programs and sites in the New Brunswick area such as the Promise Clinic, Elijah's Promise Soup Kitchen. St. John's Community Health Center, and Eric B. Chandler Health Center.

19 Physician Assistant Students and 1 Faculty Member participated in the run while many others contributed monetary donations in support of the event and its cause.
