The UMDNJ-SHRP Respiratory Care Program collaborates with several NJ colleges and universities to provide both associate degree and baccalaureate-level educational opportunities in respiratory care. For more information on any of these program, select from among those listed below: Entry-Level Programs (AS and BS)For individuals seeking entry into the field of respiratory care, UMDNJ-SHRP offers two different levels of programming:
UMDNJ-SHRP also collaborates with Camden, Atlantic-Cape and Gloucester County Colleges to offer an entry-level AAS program in southern New Jersey on the Stratford Campus of UMDNJ. BS Programs for AS-Prepared ProfessionalsFor practicing professionals already holding an AS degree, UMDNJ-SHRP offers two Joint BS degrees in Health Sciences (BSHS): (1) a BSHS degree with New Jersey City University (traditionally oriented), and (2) a BSHS degree with Thomas Edison State College (emphasizing transfer credit, credit by exam, experiential learning and nontraditional course delivery). Both offer a track in Health Services Management & Education.
