Risk and Claims Management

Risk and Claims Management’s mission is the
management of the University-wide insurance,
self-insurance and risk management systems.
Specific responsibilities include:

Risk analysis and assessment associated
with University operations

Management of self-insurance programs,
loss prevention and control and, also,
associated claims and litigation
management

Procurement of commercial insurance and
management of those business
relationships

Contract review

University-wide resource for risk management information

The department reports to University Senior Administration within the Legal Management Department
