Funding Opportunities

The Office of the Vice President for Research provides UMDNJ faculty with two resources to maintain electronic CVs and seek funding opportunities. 

Community of Science (www.cos.com) is an internet-based program that provides faculty with the following,

1. Searching for funding opportunities

2. Receiving e-mail announcements of targeted opportunities based on saved search criteria. 

3. Faculty profiles on the Scholar Universe system, by which researchers can identify and contact others for potential collaborations.

The Illumina program (www.csa.com) is also a search tool for funding opportunities which includes,

1. Searching for ‘papers invited’ at conferences

2. Searching for publications based on medical terms.  

3. Users can log in from on campus computers without passwords.
