Funding Resources

The Office of the Vice President for Research provides UMDNJ researchers with two resources to maintain electronic CVs and seek funding opportunities.  

Pivot is an internet-based program that provides faculty with the following,

1. Searching for funding opportunities

2. Receiving e-mail announcements of targeted opportunities based on saved search criteria. 

3. Faculty can choose ‘claim profile’ to link to their publication history that the company has already created for many researchers. Note: this is not necessary to do searches or get e-mail alerts.

Proquest is also a search tool for funding opportunities, and in addition includes,

1. Searching for ‘papers invited’ at conferences

2. Searching for publications based on medical terms..  

3. Users can log in from on campus computers without passwords.
