El concepto de Inteligencia Emocional [IE] ha producido en los últimos años un fuerte impacto tanto en el ámbito teórico como en el campo aplicado. La sensibilidad con la que se ha recibido esta temática, expresa la necesidad humana de dar respuestas al desarrollo emocional. El interés científico en Inteligencia Emocional se manifiesta en la cantidad de publicaciones de prestigiosas revistas especializadas y en el número creciente de ediciones sobre IE, traducidas a diferentes idiomas en muchas partes del planeta.

Una de las razones que explican la amplia difusión de la IE en ámbitos aplicados, es el reconocimiento hecho por profesionales sobre la importancia que tienen las emociones y los sentimientos en los resultados de sus trabajos. La inteligencia emocional constituye un instrumento válido para el desarrollo personal debido a que permite autoconocerse, autorregularse, motivarse, ser empático y crear habilidades sociales.

Este Congreso se propone que la inteligencia emocional sea una herramienta para que los sujetos descubran y comprendan su interior y, de este modo, aprendan a expresarse y a vincularse sanamente.

América Latina está constituida por una multiplicidad de razas. Nuestra etnia se fue mezclando con muy diversas corrientes inmigratorias y el resultado es una cultura cuya identidad reside en la diversidad, con una mirada muy abierta hacia el mundo, donde las emociones son explícitas pero no por ello conocidas. Una sociedad madura debe asumir el conocimiento y la regulación de su vida emocional.

El encuentro es una oportunidad para que profesionales y todos aquellos interesados en su desarrollo emocional, de América Latina y otras regiones del mundo, tengan un espacio para intercambiar y experimentar ideas, conceptos, investigaciones, técnicas y experiencias.

Abordará la Inteligencia Emocional desde diversas perspectivas:

  • Salud
  • Educación
  • Organizaciones
  • Comunicación Masiva

Contribuirá a actualizar paradigmas, metodologías y técnicas en un contexto de respeto por la diversidad y los valores humanos. Del mismo modo, destacará la importancia de aplicar los aportes de la Inteligencia Emocional a programas de desarrollo humano en distintos ámbitos sociales.

Objectives:

  • Ser un medio para la difusión de la IE
  • Demostrar la importancia de la IE como eje central en la construcción de nuevos modelos de desarrollo humano
  • Fomentar el desarrollo de la investigación y la aplicación de la IE
  • Vivenciar experiencias prácticas, expresivas, creativas e innovadoras para el desarrollo de la IE en los sujetos
  • Ofrecer un espacio que posibilite la expresión de las emociones como derecho primario de existir
  • Generar un espacio de vivencia y reflexión tendiente al equilibrio entre las emociones y la razón

The AAAP originated in 1985 as the American Academy of Psychiatrists in Alcoholism and Anddictions [AAPAA[. In 1996, the organization assumed its current name.

The goals of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry [AAAP] are to:
