Accelerating Our Success Scan

8/20/07—During the recent Open Forum sessions, I highlighted my plans for performing a deep environmental scan of the University. An integral part of this process is to solicit feedback from each of you on your perspectives surrounding the institution's mission, current challenges, and future opportunities for success.

While I would like nothing better than to engage each of you in an individual conversation on these vital issues, the logistics of such an interaction are of course not possible. To facilitate this sharing of information therefore, we have set up a site posting my discussion questions through the UMDNJ portal, known as 'myumdnj'.

You may access these questions through the following three (3) steps:

1. Log in to 'myumdnj' (There will be no association between submitted remarks and individual names - this is a confidential survey)
2. Go to the President's Channel
3. Click on 'Accelerating Our Success Scan' (Please read and follow 'ALL' of the instructions at the top of the survey)

To ensure that your thoughts and suggestions are reviewed in a timely fashion during this planning process, I ask that you post your responses no later than September 20, 2007.
