4.4 (k) Each individual who handles radioiodine in a dispersible form shall receive thyroid bioassay in accordance with the provisions of NRC Regulatory Guide 8.2. Unless otherwise authorized, thyroid bioassay shall be performed at the University Hospital Nuclear Medicine section or the Office of Radiation Safety Services.
