Anu Motiwala joined UMDNJ in 1987 to design, launch and establish a viable internal management consulting unit to provide value-added analytical, problem-solving and decision-making support to the University's schools, healthcare units and administrative/support services. Over the course of his long and distinguished career at UMDNJ, Anu has successfully planned, directed and executed a variety of performance and service enhancement projects while establishing and overseeing a viable University wide policy function.

Prior to joining UMDNJ, Anu held a variety of management positions with AT&T, American Express and Olivetti Corporation.  Anu holds an M.P.H. in Healthcare Organization & Administration from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University, an M.B.A. from New York University, and an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Polytechnic University of New York.

Vera Rocco joined UMDNJ in 1998 as a Secretary II and over the next eight years advanced to the position of Secretary I in 2000 followed by a promotion in 2002 to her current position as Staff Assistant with the Office of Policy and Project Management (OPPM). In addition to providing administrative support to facilitate smooth office operations, Vera performs data collection, analysis, maintains policy website, handles related communications and assists the Director in conducting projects requiring a critical evaluation of functions, programs or services and associated management systems and procedures as part of OPPM’s internal management consulting role.
