I. PURPOSE
To establish a policy on the provision of nondiscriminatory services to the public.II. ACCOUNTABILITY
Under the direction
of the President, the Associate Vice President for Affirmative Action and
Equal Employment Opportunity
(AA/EEO) shall ensure compliance with this policy. The
Associate Vice President
for Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity in
concert with the Deans
and Vice Presidents shall implement this policy.
III. POLICY
A. Requirements:
1. All medical and related services provided to the public by institutions under____________________________
the control of UMDNJ shall be provided without discrimination on the basis
of minority status, sex, or other impermissible grounds.2. UMDNJ commits itself to a continuing and active program, to assure that
discrimination does not occur in its services rendered to the public and that
those sectors of the public most immediately affected by this policy be kept
informed regularly of its programmatic content.
