POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN mOLECULAR VIROLOGY
A POSTDOCTORAL POSITION is available immediately to study mechanisms of replication and pathogenesis of oncogenic positive strand RNA viruses. Studies involve delineating the role of host proteins in HCV replication and pathogenesis and signal transduction pathways modulated during progression of HCV associated liver cancer with the broad goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets. Candidates with Ph.D. in Molecular Virology or a relevant scientific discipline and strong background in molecular and cell biology with experience in signal transduction research are preferred. The project is supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute and UMDNJ foundation. Salary is commensurate with experience.
