POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN THE CENTER FOR NEURODEGENERATIVE AND NEUROIMMUNOLOGIC DISEASES

A position is available for a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Neurodegenerative and Neuroimmunologic Diseases, Department of Neurology, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, under the directorship of Professor M. Maral Mouradian, MD.

The project focuses on understanding the molecular pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases and aims at developing novel therapeutic approaches. The primary disease target is Parkinson’s disease with applications to Alzheimer’s disease as well.

Candidates must have a PhD degree with strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell biology. Preference will be given to individuals who have experience working with mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases and knowledge of neuroscience. Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
