POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN PHARMACOLOGY AND PHYSIOLOGY

A postdoctoral position is available immediately in the laboratory of Dr. Debkumar Pain at the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology, UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, Newark, New Jersey. The laboratory uses a wide-spectrum of techniques in molecular cell biology to study iron-sulfur (Fe-S) cluster biogenesis in mitochondria. The candidate will participate in a project to determine the roles of nucleotides and various proteins involved in Fe-S cluster biogenesis. He/she must have a Ph.D. degree with hands-on expertise in biochemical and molecular biology techniques. Experience in yeast genetics and mitochondrial physiology is preferred.
