POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN HEMATOPOIESIS AND LEUKEMOGENESIS
Qualifications:
Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant science finishing their training (following their residency and/or fellowship) who wish to prepare for careers in academic medicine and have 0 - 3 years of experience with relevant laboratory techniques. Background in hematopoiesis and/or cancer biology research preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Appointee position is to conduct research investigation into human hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis under supervision of the Principal Investigator.
Performs research, experiments and laboratory techniques of a specialized nature under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator. Drafts written reports for inclusion in manuscripts and grant proposals.
