POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN MEDICAL ONCOLOGY

Maximum hiring salary: $37,368

Qualifications:
Ph.D. and/or M.D. in a relevant science finishing their training (following their residency and/or fellowship) who wish to prepare for careers in academic medicine. Background in cancer biology research, preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills. Must be computer literate with proficiency and working knowledge of database and reporting tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Appointee position is to conduct research investigation into the molecular mechanisms of cancer development and progression, under the supervision of the Principal Investigator. Performs research, experiments and laboratory techniques of a specialized nature under direct supervision of the Principal Investigator. Drafts written reports for inclusion in manuscripts and grant proposals.
