POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN NEUROSCIENCE AND CELL BIOLOGY

Summary
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, Postdoctoral Fellow's duties may include, but are not limited to the following: protein purification and characterization, pyrene-actin polymerization in the presence of different actin-binding proteins, study of protein-protein interactions, point-directed mutagenesis.

Project
Study possible mechanisms of regulation of tropomodulin capping the pointed end of the actin filament.

Position is available from November 2009; grant-funded.

Educational Requirements
Ph.D. in Moleular Biology, Riochemistry or Biophysics

Skill Qualifications
Protein expression, purification and characterization and/or
biophysical methods such as fluorescences and circular dichroism.
