Objectives

After reading these materials, you will be able to:

• Assess the learning needs of school nurses in TB training

• Identify learning activities relevant to training of school nurses on the subject of TB

• Utilize and/or modify a pre-designed training program for one nurse or a group of nurses on:
  • TB fundamentals
  • School-based directly observed therapy (DOT)
  • Mantoux tuberculin skin testing
