Course Description
While treatment of persons with latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) is accepted as an essential component of TB control, rates of completion of treatment remain disappointing. For example, few programs are able to achieve the CDC objective of “At least 85% of infected contacts who are started on treatment for LTBI will complete treatment within 365 days.”

This web-based course will explore successful and innovative approaches to ensuring adherence to LTBI treatment. Sound principles of behavioral science, flexibility, and a patient-centered approach are essential. Hands-on experts will explain how they are successful and how to tailor approaches to your own programs and patient populations. Case presentations will be included.
