On-call rooms are provided in each hospital. Although permanent accomodations are not provided, assistance is given in securing suitable, convenient housing.

Insurance/Hospitalization

Life, disability, retirement and hospitalization insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Major Medical) are provided to residents at or above the PGY-1 level.

Licensure

All residents appointed to the third postgraduate year (PGY-3) or higher must have full medical licensure in the State of New Jersey.
